Reading When You Can't Be There in Person

During the Pandemic we became creative with our use of technology, at least I did. Having time to read books to my grandchildren who live across the world became a valuable way to share uniquely important vocabulary, time, and information to them. Additionally being able to replay stories read aloud gave us all more repetetive time together "with visual moments" until safety measures improved.

I encourage you to do the same! Record your voice and self reading, sharing memories aloud, or even an "I love You!" will make a forever difference in your relationship. If you have to travel, work long hours, or may be ill consistent time together for meals, bedtime routines, and more may be missed. This helps you and your child maintain an everlasting connection.

Below is an example of me reading a story from a few years ago with a snippet of ideas.
